"White Day: I Believe in Christ"

"I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one after another softly, like pearls on a string."
-L.M. Montgomery

Happy White Day!
This is the day
when boys give girls Valentines
in return for the Valentines
girls gave them.
{I'm so bringing this idea to America.
And not just because I love covet adore worship kinda like free cookies.}
Three young women
in my ward
sang with me in Church today.
Here's a little recording of it:
I was so proud of those girls;
they worked super hard to pronounce the English lyrics,
and stuck it through to the end.
Those troopers.
And then,
we celebrated the Relief Society's birthday
and ate many delicious things,
along with the cookies
one of the ward missionaries baked
for all the sisters,
for White Day.
After church,
I received a phone call from a sister,
thanking me and the girls
for our song.
She spoke no English,
but her feelings were clear,
and I have never felt more blessed.

  4. What fun you're having and both you and your students are learning so much. One of the things I like about my new church is the singing. Ray went with me again today! Love to you Grandma

  6. That song was so awesome! I'm not usually into a lot of church songs, but that was just really cool. And those girls did really good with pronouncing the words in English. :)
