"The Chocolate Apartment"

"...establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God." -Doctrine & Covenants 109:8

A belated introduction.
{Sorry, Mom.}
Welcome to Le Chocolat,
my home in Japan.
I'll be getting pretty cozy here,
as the junior high school I teach
extended my contract through December.
Translation?
I'm staying in Kakogawa,
teaching one school,
for the entirety of my internship.
This means I'll stay close to my host family,
and get to know my students and fellow coworkers
all the better.
I've been thinking alot about growing up lately.
I know it's no coincidence I've been accepted here,
and I'm so thankful for it.
This is my home now.
{Until December.}

  2. I love your apartment! It is so cute! I am jealous of the dishes rack... I don't have one.

    So... I will have to get the name of the town, but there is a town near Kyoto that has ninjas and you can dress up as a female ninja! We should totally go! (Pray I get to stay longer!)

    I hear you with the growing up thing. I have noticed a recurring theme in my life. The Lord sends me places so I can learn and grow. I was so excited for this adventure so I could see what the Lord wanted me to learn and experience. Every experience is preparing me to be a better person, a better daughter, a better wife, a better mom, a better daughter of God. I know that the Lord is preparing me for an amazing future and is providing a wonderful experience along the way.

    :D You are amazing, Ashley!
