"The turkey says, 'Gobble! Gobble!', and then we gobble it up!
...It's like it's saying, "Eat me! Eat me!'" -My Mother
Traditionally, my family stays at home, for Thanksgiving. (o˘‿˘ o)
We've ventured out to the West Coast for past Christmases,
but Thanksgiving is always Utah time.o♡
This time, last year,
I was telling my Japanese children all about the
food we make and eat on this day of gratitude.
{They don't eat turkey, regularly, in Japan. Σ(щ꒪Д꒪щ;;)}
Has it already been that long? ...Holy cheese monkey. (⊙_⊙)
I am so grateful for my family(இ_இ )
and for the moments we are able to share together.
It's such a miracle that they're mine.o♡
{This isn't my plate -- it has squash, stuffing, and green beans. (ô_ô)}
Now! Whilst my siblings prance off to Black Friday,
I'll hop on an early morning flight to Chicago. (ノ◉ヮ◉)ノ♥ Wee!

Have a safe and fun trip! We get our turkey tomorrow. XOXO
ReplyDeleteI just wrote a nice note , to you, and it is out in syber space. I hate it when that happens. I said: Last year, this time, your family sans you, were here. Uncle Darrin and Aunt Dena's fam. all had a lovely time, for the most part. We missed you and cousin Marissa. The weather is so iffy this time of year I hate to put you all in harms way but we did miss all of you. Uncle Matts fam came down from WA. that was nice. Hope you have a fun time in the windy city and that it is not too windy, I remember, fondly, our time there.
